style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Department<\/strong>:\u00a0Kayachikitsa<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">A\u00a0Free\u00a0Health\u00a0Check-up\u00a0and BMD\u00a0Screening Camp was conducted\u00a0at Ballagtagi on\u00a07th August 2026 as part of the community health screening initiative and preliminary participant identification for the PhD clinical research work of Dr.Sharanamma, Associate Professor, Department of Kayachikitsa.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">A total of 60 patients were screened during the camp.\u00a0The participants underwent general\u00a0health assessment and preliminary screening for factors associated with bone health and\u00a0reduced Bone Mineral Density (BMD).<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">Following the screening, 40 eligible participants were enrolled for the Free BMD Test Camp scheduled\u00a0on\u00a010th\u00a0August\u00a02026\u00a0at\u00a0KPSVS\u00a0Ayurvedic\u00a0Medical\u00a0College\u00a0&amp;\u00a0Hospital,\u00a0H.\u00a0Manvi.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">The participants were\u00a0provided\u00a0health education regarding osteoporosis\u00a0prevention, calcium-rich diet,\u00a0adequate sunlight exposure, regular physical activity, and healthy lifestyle practices.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">The camp was successfully conducted with good community participation and served as an important screening and enrolment activity for the PhD clinical
