Department of Moulika siddhanta acts
as the basic department imparting the
knowledge and understanding of texts on
Ayurveda . It deals with Sanskrit , the
fundamental principles of Ayurveda , history of
Ayurveda , interprets philosophical aspects
(Padartha vijnana) and Samhitas like Charaka
Samhita , sushrutha Samhita and astanga
hridaya. Samhita is the nodal point for the
Astangas of Ayurveda The Department deals
with in depth study of Samhitas .
Sanskrit language helps the students to understand the original Ayurvedic concepts. Accurate knowledge of samhitas helps in enhancing clinical skills there by enabling to be better physicians .

* Sanskrit workshop – Training students with the basics of Sanskrit for the better understanding of Sanskrit language .

She is having 13 Years of teaching experience in the subjects of
Padartha Vijnana and Samhitas. Emphasize on developing the
analytical skills of the students which helps them in conducting
research in the field of Ayurveda. Students are encouraged to read and
understand the proper meaning of Shlokas and interpret so that all the
concepts told in classical literature is applied practically which will
enhance their clinical skills as well.
