The word Panchakarma very mentioned by Acharya Charak.
Panchakarma is combination of five Purificatory procedure (Vaman, Virechan, Basti, Nasya, Raktamokshana). Considering the wide range application of panchakarma in different diseases, students will be extensively trained to perform Panchakarma procedures and have a hands on experience. Thus the students will get a better understanding with memory of the theory taught in the classroom. Discussion of clinical cases with the students helps them to have more interest and passion towards the subject and also helps in the development of scientific temperament towards Ayurveda.
