It is an “Eternal science for promotion of health”.
- It deals with Prevention, Promotion, Curative and Rehabilitation of the body, mind and soul.
- It deals with state of health and regimens to be followed to keep oneself healthy such as dinacharya (daily routine), Ritucharya (Seasonal Routine),diet and its significance in health and diseased condition and yoga also plays key role in psychosomatic disease prevention.
- It deals with the concept of social and preventive medicine. Food, sleep and controlled sex(Aahara, Nidra and Bramhacharya) are considered as three pillars holding life and health.
- Timely intake of suitable and good quality food, regular sleeping habit and controlled indulgence in sex ensure healthy and long life.
- Once maintenance of mental balance is also equally important and our ayurveda system of medicine offers spiritual and mental treatments for diseases.
A General Meaning Of Yoga
‘Yujyate anena iti yogaha’
Joining of our soul to the Brahma.
- Which means “yoga is the union of the individual soul with the Absolute or divine soul.
- Yoga also means the verification of physical, mental, intellectual and spiritual aspects of human being.
- Yoga is the science of development of a person’s consciousness.
- In our hospital for our OPD,IPD Patients we usually suggests Yoga asanas and praanayama depending upon there individual ailments.
- We also prefer pathya for patients in our hospital for further promotion of their health.

And also working as NSS programme officer since 18 years and every year conducting NSS special camps for 7 days in rural areas students benefiting with leader ship qualities and overall development students.
