Department of Roganidan Evum Vikriti Vigyan is that gives emphasis on Ayurveda and contemporary Diagnostics and Pathology. It is a key subject that trains the students to apply knowledge of fundamental principles of Ayurveda to practice by understanding diseases, patient interaction, drawing diagnosis, and prognosis. This is a strong base to frame an appropriate treatment protocol.
The students are given training to develop their diagnostic skills, improve their knowledge in differentiating the signs and symptoms of various diseases and are also given training for proper interaction with patients, examination of patients in Ayurvedic and modern clinical methods, preparing case sheets, presenting case etc.,
Dr.M.Pruthvi kumar currently working as associate professor in the department of Roganidana evam vikriti vigyana at Kalmathada Pujya Shri Virupaksha Shivacharya Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Manvi.
Teaches curriculum based theory clases as well as practicals clases and routine laboratory investigations with clinical bed side to 2nd professional BAMS students. He has a knowledge of aetiopathology and Ayurvedic diagnosis at clinical level as well as laboratory level.
